Just letting you all know that Arena this year does NOT require a fully painted army to participate (it HIGHLY RECOMMENDED though, points will be removed if it is not fully painted), so there are no excuses people! Let us know quickly if you wish to participate we need to plan lunches!
If you look at our sponsors bar to the right, you’ll notice that it is steadily growing to include more awesome local retailer that are contributing to make Arena more awesome for you; the attendee. Visit these guys, all of them. They have great communities and can take care of your gaming needs.
Another thing you’ll notice is that Secret Weapon is now a sponsor also. If you don’t know who Secret Weapon is do yourself a favour and click their banner to visit their site. They’re the fine makers scenic resin bases, weathering pigments, terrain, washes and just about everything you’ll need to give your models that little extra they’ve been lacking. Check out their models and kits too.
Last thing. If you haven’t signed up yet, don’t wait too long. The sooner you sign up, the better equipped we are to make the event as awesome as we can. If you’re not comfortable with PayPal, just send us an email and we’ll figure something out, or drop by your local retailer who is sponsoring the event, L’Abyss, Gamer’s Vault or Portail du Jeux to buy your ticket.

Our team Forgeworld Kebek II had a great showing, lots of amazing comments from viewers (thank you to all of them!), competition was crazy tough this year and becoming increasingly difficult each year it seems, I am already looking forward to working with the team for their next project.
I am happy to announce our hard work did pay off – we won BEST IMPERIAL THEME!! Congrats!
I was very excited also to see the other team from Quebec got tons of attention with their super-amazing Ork tower of doom, way to go Hellfire (http://
It was great to see so many Canadians this year at Adepticon, I hope it continues, and thank you to all the people who are helping spread the word about Arena-Montreal, Mathieu Fontaine, Jen from www.screamingheretic.com, Sam from 40knation.com, for the hillarious guys at Battlefoam, http://www.battlefoam.com/ who entertained me, Anna & Chris Aubin from Cool Mini or Not! http://www.coolminiornot.com/, and the organizers of Adepticon!

Bienvenue a Montreal! Fran-glais is the language spoken here. Nous avons des gamers anglais et des gamers français. Arena-Montreal est un tournois bilingue! Je n’écrit pas bien en français mais j’essais, mon français parler et mieux (je croix/j’espère!)
But as gamers I like to believe that we can overcome language and find a common-denomenator called gaming language – europeans do it all the time! :)
Don’t be shy…register today, we all belong to the same community – the gaming community!
There have been a few small changes on the PDFs concerning the rules for the tournaments, including painting requirements and more specific information concerning Team Rules.
